October 12, 2026 – JAK W
Location: Mountain View, CA · Completed: 2023 · Architecture: BIG & Heatherwick Studio · Photography: Mark Wickens
Scope of work: Artist curation for the visitor's center, decor styling, procurement and installation.
The Google Visitor Experience at Gradient Canopy opens the Mountain View campus to the public for the first time, with the Huddle community event space, Google's first public cafe, a pop-up shop featuring local businesses, an art-filled outdoor plaza, and the first brick-and-mortar Google Store on the West Coast. JAK W curated and styled the spaces to feel welcoming and sustainable, with a strong focus on supporting the local community, makers, and artists.
