It allows for a firmer connection between the sky and the earth. Made from seamed woolen felt, decorated with little brass bells, it bears the trace of the artisans of the Kathmandu valley who have crafted it. Made in France, handmade in Nepal

Muskhane grew out of a humanitarian mission to Nepal more than twenty years ago and a wish to share the country's craft heritage. Designed in Annecy, France, every piece is made by hand in workshops in the Kathmandu Valley, mostly from felted wool, along with lokta paper, hemp, nettle fibre and brass.

Sustainability: artisans have permanent jobs with fair pay and good working conditions. Muskhane reuses wool scraps as cushion and pouf filling, avoids plastic in its shipping, offsets its CO2 through the climate NGO GERES, and supports charities in Nepal.
