Made from Capiz, this shell is found in large quantities in the sea around the Phillipines. The cleaned shells are softened and applied on a mold using a paper maché technique, dried, laminated and painted.
A small family businesses in Cebu has partnered with 'Cottage industry' to produce these beautiful ornaments.
