A cylindrical ice bucket with a subtly domed base, inspired by the Eden Project’s biospheres. Mouthblown from recycled glass, following the sustainable practice of turning discarded material into something useful. The Canopy ice bucket is mouth-blown from recycled glass. Locally-sourced clear jars and bottles are sorted, crushed, and heated in the furnace until molten. The skilled glassblower gathers, shapes, and then blows the molten glass into a mold to form the ice bucket. The natural insulation and flexibility properties of the cork make it an ideal material to combine with our 100% recycled glass in the making of the canopy ice bucket.
