Richard Lau Pottery
Richard Lau a San Francisco-based maker of one-of-a-kind wheel thrown clay vessels. The work is inspired by the infinite patterns and textures in nature. Everything from a water ripple to the surface of a manzanita tree informs their design process and shows through in the finished work. Their process starts with one shape which, in turn, evolves into several complementary shapes.
